These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PrivateSportsTrainers.com and the services offered by Private Sports Trainers ("PST," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using PST, submitting a training inquiry, applying to join the trainer network, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Effective Date: September 8, 2026PST is a directory and connection platform designed to help athletes, parents, guardians, and families discover and connect with independent private sports trainers.
Important: PST is not the employer, agent, partner, supervisor, or representative of trainers listed on the platform. Unless PST expressly states otherwise in writing, trainers are independent providers who control their own training services, schedules, pricing, locations, methods, and client relationships.
You may use PST only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. If you are under 18, you should use PST with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 should not independently submit personal information through PST.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of PST and for making decisions regarding any trainer or training service used by the minor.
Trainer profiles may contain information supplied by trainers, businesses, or other authorized sources. Trainers are responsible for ensuring that information they submit to PST is accurate, current, lawful, and not misleading.
PST may review, format, edit, approve, reject, suspend, or remove profile information or listings in our reasonable discretion. However, PST is not obligated to independently investigate or continuously verify every statement appearing on a trainer profile.
Trainer profiles may reference certifications, SafeSport training, licenses, coaching experience, collegiate experience, professional experience, background information, affiliations, awards, or other qualifications.
Unless PST expressly states that a specific credential has been independently verified, such information should be understood as information represented or provided by the trainer or applicable source. Users should independently evaluate and verify qualifications that are important to them before hiring or meeting with a trainer.
Labels such as "Featured Trainer," "Founding Trainer," or similar PST designations relate to participation, placement, membership, or promotional status and do not constitute a guarantee of safety, qualifications, performance, or training results.
PST may allow athletes, parents, or guardians to send inquiries to trainers. By submitting an inquiry, you authorize PST to provide the information included in that inquiry to the selected trainer so that the trainer may contact you directly.
PST does not guarantee that a trainer will respond, accept a client, have availability, offer a particular service, or agree to any requested pricing, schedule, or location.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, arrangements for training are made directly between the trainer and the athlete, parent, or guardian. This may include scheduling, pricing, payment, cancellation policies, refunds, training locations, equipment, and other terms of service.
PST does not control a trainer's pricing or schedule and does not become a party to the training agreement merely because the parties discovered or contacted one another through PST.
Trainers listed on PST are responsible for their own business operations and for complying with laws, regulations, facility rules, insurance requirements, licensing requirements, tax obligations, safeguarding requirements, and other obligations applicable to their services.
Nothing on PST creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, franchise, agency relationship, or similar relationship between PST and an independent trainer.
Users are responsible for determining whether a trainer is appropriate for their needs. Before beginning training, athletes and families should consider independently confirming information that matters to them, which may include:
Sports, exercise, conditioning, and athletic training involve inherent risks, including the possibility of falls, collisions, overexertion, equipment-related injuries, and other physical injuries. Individual health conditions may create additional risks.
Users are responsible for determining whether participation in a particular activity is appropriate and should seek medical advice when appropriate. Trainers are responsible for conducting their services in accordance with their own professional responsibilities.
PST provides a platform for discovering and contacting trainers. PST does not supervise individual training sessions and does not control the conduct of independent trainers, athletes, parents, facilities, or other participants.
Athletic development varies by individual. PST does not guarantee that use of the platform or training with any listed trainer will result in improved performance, team selection, scholarships, recruiting opportunities, collegiate participation, professional opportunities, injury prevention, or any other particular outcome.
Users and trainers may not use PST to:
Trainers retain ownership of content they own and submit to PST. By submitting photographs, logos, biographies, business information, descriptions, credentials, links, or other content for a PST profile, the trainer grants PST a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and market PST and the trainer's listing while the content is associated with the service.
Trainers represent that they have the rights and permissions necessary to provide content submitted to PST.
The PST name, branding, logos, website design, original graphics, software, text, directory structure, and other materials created by PST are owned by or licensed to PST and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No right to use PST branding or proprietary materials is granted except as expressly authorized by PST in writing or as permitted by law.
PST may contain links to trainer websites, social media profiles, payment services, facilities, mapping services, or other third-party websites and services. PST does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, products, services, privacy practices, security, or terms.
PST may reject, suspend, restrict, modify, or remove a trainer listing or a user's access to PST when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect users, maintain platform quality, address inaccurate or inappropriate content, investigate complaints, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect PST.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PST AND ITS WEBSITE, DIRECTORY, CONTENT, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. PST DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND FITNESS OF ANY TRAINER OR SERVICE.
PST DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT EVERY TRAINER PROFILE OR USER-SUBMITTED STATEMENT WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PST AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO USE OF PST, DEALINGS WITH A TRAINER, A TRAINING SESSION, USER CONDUCT, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PST and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of PST, content you submit, or your violation of another person's rights.
Your use of PST is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
PST may update these Terms as the platform, membership offerings, or applicable legal requirements change. The effective date displayed at the top of this page indicates when the current version became effective. Continued use of PST after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. These Terms, together with policies and agreements expressly incorporated into them, constitute the applicable agreement concerning general use of the PST website and services.
